Part-Time Physical Therapist
Train Boston Physical Therapy, Inc., the leading physical therapy-based sports-training center in metro-west Boston is seeking a well-qualified physical therapist for a part-time position. The physical therapy clinic is privately owned and located within Train Boston Sports Center in Wellesley Hills, where you will work alongside a few of the area's most talented and experienced clinicians.
Our team embraces a holistic, pre-habilitative treatment model, with the primary focus on the prevention and correction of musculoskeletal/neuromuscular pain and dysfunction. Within our center, we incorporate a cross-disciplinary model of physical therapy, personal training, individualized group training, and sports performance conditioning.
Our mission is to provide the highest quality of manual therapy and progressive treatments, as well as the latest in strength training, conditioning, and therapeutic exercise techniques for the prevention of future injury. Our clients range from the professional and amateur athlete, the post-operative patient, motivated individuals looking for help solving a chronic injury, and a spectrum of clients from youths to seniors.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 1-2 years of outpatient orthopedic/sports experience, a strong manual therapy skill set, and a progressive exercise understanding. New graduates with primary orthopedic/sports clinical experience are encouraged to apply.
- Current MA PT license and demonstrated commitment to continuing education.
- Understands the business of physical therapy and is eager to network and grow a practice.
- Provider credentials for Medicare and most private insurance plans.
- The desire to be an elite physical therapist and leader in the field of orthopedic and sports medicine with a passion for fitness and sports.
- Knowledge of water therapy a plus, but not required

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Identifies and establishes new business contacts, would be a plus if candidate has existing relationships with Orthopedic Doctors offices and/or Athletic Directors at the collegiate and high school level, but not required
- Develops and maintains a business and sales plan
- Excellent time management and follow up skills
- Maintains a professional attitude and represents our brand well
- Ability to perform in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s Degree required
