“As an Orthopedic Surgeon providing patient care for over three decades, I am very knowledgeable why patients get better following injury. It is a fact that patients can recover from a painful extremity or joint disorder with professional help while achieving maximal physical health.”

The therapeutic techniques we use include the following:
Manual techniques can often decrease or eliminate pain associated with joints and tissue structures that have less than normal movement. When appropriate stretching and strengthening exercises are performed along with loosening of the joint and tissue structures, manual techniques can make a significant difference in both pain and movement.
Therapeutic/Kinetic/Neuromuscular Exercises
Let our highly qualified physical therapists use their knowledge of the effects of exercise on muscles, bones, nerves, brain, heart, and lungs, paired with their understanding of injuries, diseases, surgical procedures, and recovery to design a unique individualized exercise program for you.
Moving in water can be easier than moving on land. Decrease muscle stiffness, spasms, and pain with Hydrotherapy. Or, use Hydrotherapy for cardiovascular exercise, improve overall fitness and health, increase the range and strength of joints and muscles, or as a relaxation exercise.
One modality, utrasound, uses sound waves to transfer energy into the tissues, which can help repair them after injuries like sprains, strains, bruising, tendonitis, or open wounds. Another modality is heat, which can be applied in many ways with the aim of decreasing pain through relaxation and increased blood flow. Ice is a third modality that is most often used to decrease pain and swelling.
